Pre-construction shouldn't be this hard to compare.
LaunchLand exists because the GTA's $30B+ pre-construction market still runs on PDFs, screenshots, and group chats. We're building the structured data layer underneath it.
Who it's for
Buyers comparing options. Agents pulling project data on demand. Builders who want their projects evaluated on actual merits, not just marketing spend.
Why it exists
No GTA platform structures pre-construction data uniformly. Decisions are slow, comparisons are unfair, and good projects get lost in noise.
Why builder-first
The data has to come from builders, accurately and willingly. We invest in the builder experience first so the buyer experience can be honest.

How the 100-point score is calculated
Every project gets an overall trust score from 0 to 100, recomputed automatically whenever a builder updates project data. It's a weighted blend of four sub-scores:
Data completeness
30%Share of key project fields filled in: address, neighbourhood, storeys, units, occupancy date, pricing, tagline, description, highlight, ≥3 amenities, and at least one floor plan.
Builder track record
30%Years active × 6 + projects delivered × 4 (capped at 100), with a verified-builder bonus once approved on the platform.
Deposit friendliness
20%Lower total deposit % before occupancy scores higher. A 20% total deposit scores 100; every 1% above that subtracts 2.5 points.
Price transparency
20%Full price-from and price-to ranges plus per-floor-plan pricing on every plan. Partial pricing scales proportionally.
Scores recompute on every project, floor plan, deposit milestone, or builder profile change. Admins can trigger a full recalculation from the platform dashboard.
How we vet builders
Every builder on LaunchLand clears the same five-step review before any project is published. We re-verify annually, and any change to corporate status, principals, or material project facts triggers a manual re-review.
- 01
Corporate identity
We confirm the legal entity via Ontario Business Registry, match HST/CRA numbers, and verify the principals against public filings.
- 02
Track record
Past projects, years active, units delivered, and occupancy history are sourced from public records and cross-referenced with builder-provided data.
- 03
Tarion & licensing
Active Tarion registration and HCRA licence status are checked for every builder; lapses or disciplinary actions block publishing.
- 04
Project diligence
For each listing, we review the disclosure statement, deposit schedule, price list, and floor plans before the project leaves pending status.
- 05
Ongoing monitoring
Buyer reports, price-list changes, and complaints feed an audit log. Repeat issues lower the trust score and can result in delisting.
Verification is a quality signal, not an endorsement. Always review the full disclosure statement and consult a licensed professional before signing.
